ESP8266 Wemos D1 Mini mit 0,96 Zoll OLED 128x64 I2C volle Auflösung nutzen Beispiel

Auch diesmal fast 2h rumprobieren um an einen Wemos D1 Mini ein 0,96 Zoll OLED zu betreiben. Es lief eigentlich auf Anhieb, allerdings nur auf 128x32 statt 128x64 - hier nun meine erfolgreiche Version.
Probleme hatte ich unter anderem mit der Bibliothek und der Einstellung der Displaygröße sowie der im Beispiel verwendeten Adresse.


Bauteile



Schaltung

Diese OLED Displays haben immer 4 Pins, die Belegung von VCC und GND ist jedoch nicht immer gleich.
ich habe 3 Stück davon und nicht alle sind gleich. Also die Beschriftung eures Displays beachten!

VCC          :  Stromversorgung mit 3,3V oder 5V (funktioniert beides) / Plus
GND          :  Masse / Minus
SCK oder SLC :  an Pin D1
SDA          :  an Pin D2


Die Schaltung sieht so aus:

Das OLED hat auf der Rückseite eine Wiederstandsbrücke über welche die Adresse geändert werden könnte.
Ab Werk steht das normalerweise auf

0x78 => 0x3C

Den rechten Wert müsst ihr im Sketch nutzen, da musste ich etwas suchen bis ich das heraus gefunden habe.


Arduiono Entwicklungsumgebung

Ich nutze das Programm Arduino zur Programmierung. Zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung dieses Artikels war das die Version 1.8.8
Es wurde die ESP8266 Bibliothek eingebunden:
Zuerst diese URL unter Datei => Voreinstellungen einbinden

Und danach das Board (NICHT Bibliothek!) installieren unter Werkzeuge => Board: "irgenetwas" => Boardverwalter

Sketch mit "Adafruit SSD1306"

Hier mein Sketch für den Test. Er entspricht dem Beispiel aus der Adaruit Bibliothek, ist jedoch so angepasst das ein 128x64 Display per I2C an Adresse 0x3C daran läuft.

Nach dem Hochladen sollten da diverse Grafiken, Linien und Scrolltexte erscheinen.

Vorher kommt aber noch ein Adafruit Logo (das ist ind er Bibliothek eingecoded)

Tja, das hab ich mir tatsächlich aus den Dateien der Bibliotheken zusammengesucht.
Es gab 2 forum beiträge welche mich auf die Idee gebracht haben sowie eine Amazon-Bewertung in der Stand das man in der Biblothek etwas anpassung muss (was bei mir nicht funktiuonierte).
in der .h Datei und im Beispiel war dann aber die neue Methode zu erkennen wie man es nun machen soll.


Bibliothek ESP8266 and ESP32 Oled Driver for SSD1306 display

Falls Ihr diese Bibliothek verwendet:

So müsst Ihr in den Beispielen dieser Bibliothek

jeweils die folgende Zeile anpassen:

dann klappt es mit meiner obigen Verkabelung.

Ich habe mal ein wenig herumprobiert, da man bei dieser Bibliothek die Pins angeben kann funktioniert es mit folgenden Pins:

D1
D2
D3
D5
D6
D7

Folgender geht nicht

D8 -> funktioniert aus einem Grund nicht: Wenn SCL oder SDA damit verbunden sind lässt sich der Wemos D1 Mini nicht ehr flashen bzw. startet nach einem Reset nicht mehr
      Das liegt wohl daran man an diesem Pin den Bootloader Mode verstellen kann (zusammen mit D3 und D4), da müsste ein Widerstand dran (oder so)

Ihr müsst bei der Verbindung (siehe oben) nach der Adresse immer erst den SCL und dann den SCA angeben.
